Thala Integrates LayerZero: Move Dollar and THL as Omnichain Fungible Tokens
Thala announces its partnership with LayerZero, integrating Move Dollar (MOD) and the Thala governance token (THL) as omnichain fungible tokens (OFTs) and enabling seamless multi-chain connectivity for both tokens across all chains supported by Thala in the near future.
As omnichain fungible tokens, MOD and THL will become natively multi-chain without the potential security risks of wrapped tokens. LayerZero’s unique architecture enables applications to control their own security configurations through Oracle and Relayer pairing. LayerZero’s Ultra Light Nodes enable lightweight messaging across chains, delivering authentic message transmission without compromising its comprehensive security measures.
Move Dollar, alongside the Thala governance token, will be available as OFTs at mainnet launch (look out for announcements regarding THL distribution and tokenomics in the coming days!).
We’re also integrating LayerZero’s bridge on our site so that users will be able to bridge efficiently without leaving our dApp interface.
